In diesem Jahr gibt es nicht weniger als zehn Filmfestivals im Land, was natürlich auch die Produktion von Schweizer Filmen fördert. Wie so oft im Leben, folgen die Budgets jedoch nicht der Euphorie – so mancher Film wird mit einem Budget gedreht, dass in Hollywood kaum für den Trailer reichen würde. Dass gelegentlich trotzdem Perlen entstehen, hat sich offensichtlich noch nicht überall herumgesprochen.
This year there are no fewer than ten film festivals in the country, which of course also promotes the production of Swiss films. As so often in life, budgets don’t follow the euphoria – many films are shot on a budget that in Hollywood would hardly pay for the trailer. The fact however that pearls occasionally appear has obviously not yet spread everywhere.
