Das kleine Dorf am Nam Ou ist nur mit dem Boot zugänglich. Das einzige gemauerte Haus ist das Schulhaus, die Menschen wohnen in einfachsten Hütten aus geflochtenem Bambus. Auch der Lehrer, der seine Klasse vor seinem Heim präsentiert. Mit nur CHF 15.- kann man die ganze Klasse mit Papier und Stiften für ein Jahr ausstatten. Das nennt man „Bang for the Buck“.
The small village at Nam Ou is only accessible by boat. The only bricked house is the schoolhouse, the people live in simple huts made of twisted bamboo. Also the teacher, who presents his class in front of his home. With only CHF 15 you can equip the whole class with paper and pens for one year. That is called „Bang for the Buck“.
