Materie und Masse nicht nicht dasselbe. So besteht die Masse des Universums zu rund 99% aus Bindungsenergie, und nur 1% der Masse aus Materie. Im grossen Kontext der Existenz mag das irrelevant sein. Wenn man stark übergewichtig ist, aber wenigstens tröstlich. Wem das nicht genug Trost spendet, kann sich auch noch vor Augen führen, dass ein Mensch zu 70% aus Wasser besteht. Eigentlich zählen nur 30% von 1% des Gewichts.
Materia and mass are not not the same. The mass of the universe consists of 99% binding energy and only 1% materia. This may be irrelevant in the large context of existence. But when you are heavily overweight, it is at least comforting. If you don’t get enough relief from this, you can also remember that 70% of a body consists of water. Actually only 30% of 1% of the mass counts.
