Es gibt durchaus noch landwirtschaftlichen Betriebe in der Nähe von Zürich. Das ist eine gute Sache: Die Felder sind gross und gut zugänglich. Schweres Gerät macht effizientes arbeiten möglich. Die Stadtbevölkerung kommt auf dem Heimweg vom Büro oder beim Abendausflug so in den Genuss von etwas fly-by Landromantik. Nur der Tierschutz hat seine Nöte, wenn das Vieh pro Einheit 0.1 m2 zu wenig Stallfläche hat.
There are still farms near Zurich. That’s a good thing: the fields are large and easily accessible. Heavy equipment makes efficient work possible. The city dwellers can enjoy some fly-by country romance on their way home from the office or on their evening outing. Only the animal protection authorities have their problems if the livestock per unit has too small a barn area of 0.1 m2.
